BOOKS: Refer

ARTICLES:
For journal articles, your first choices should be the following
three databases: ABI/Inform Complete,
Business Source Premier, and General
BusinessFile ASAP.
Secondary
choices are EmeraldFulltext and/or Communication
& Mass Media Complete. For articles and other information
on topics of law, etc., also try LexisNexis and Westlaw
Campus Research. Most other databases listed in this section
are highly specialized. Some provide specific types of data, e.g.,
financial ratios or corporate records. Others, Regional Business
News for example, differ from journal databases (sources
of scholarly and non-scholarly journal articles) in that while
they do contain articles, the majority of their content comes
from regional business magazines and newsletters, newswires, and
newspapers.
CORPORATE
DATA: Students researching individual companies, needing corporate
data, etc., should read the Library's bibliography for Financial

Public
Administration students should note that the Social Sciences
databases <click here> will
also be a primary resource for fulfilling many
of their research needs.

Includes full text.
Premier database
of business and management periodicals. A primary resource
for full-text journal articles, indexing more than
1600 publications and providing full text for over 700 of
these. These cover a range which includes scholarly journals and
business and industry publications. |

Provides business
information and company and industry information from a variety
of sources, including periodical and news articles, company reports
and histories, industry and company rankings, and industry overviews.
