Which ones do I use?

Scroll down for descriptions and help files.

For journal articles, your first choices should be the following databases: PsycArticles, Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection, PsycINFO, and ProQuest Psychology Journals.

For books, use PsycBooks and NetLibrary. A minor source is Credo Reference.

The other databases listed in this section are highly specialized. The ERIC database indexes articles and documents in the field of education. The Mental Measurements Yearbook database provides information about, and reviews of, psychological assessment instruments.
